Chinh T. Nguyen, O.D.

Dr. Chinh T. Nguyen received his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from University of the Pacific. He attended IAUPR - School of Optometry and earned his Optometric degree in 2000. While in training, Dr. Nguyen completed several intern and externships and was the recipient of numerous clinical excellence awards. 

Dr. Nguyen is licensed by National Board of Examiners in Optometry and the State Board of California to diagnose and treat medically related eye conditions.

Dr. Nguyen provides full scope optometry services including comprehensive eye exams, diabetic eye exams, glaucoma disease management, laser surgery consultation, and contact lens fittings and evaluation.

Orathay Thongsamouth, O.D.

Dr. Orathay Thongsamouth received a Bachelor of Sciences in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Physiology for the University of California, Davis.  She later went on to obtain her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2004.  

Dr. Thongsamouth is a State of California Registered Optometrist with a Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agent Certification and is licensed to diagnose and treat infections and diseases of the eye.  She also has specialized training to fit all designs of contacts including bifocal contact lenses. 

Dr Thongsamouth provides comprehensive adult and pediatric vision eyecare, diabetic eye exams, glaucoma evaluation, lasik/ laser surgery consultation, and cataract evaluation including pre-ops and post-ops.  She has been serving patients for 14 years in family practice and pediatric care.

Comprehensive Vision and Eye Health Examinations
Regular eye exams are an invaluable tool in maintaining healthy eyes by detecting and preventing disease.  Some diseases develop slowly without causing pain or vision loss. Early detection of any problems can reduce the risk of further harm and allow for a choice of treatment options. The entire exam process can take an hour depending on the complexity of the problem.
